We follow little-known aspects of Nellie McKay. Although many know their awareness for animal rights, especially as a member of the famous PETA animal protection association, has also made donations to associations such as Planned Parenthood and Fair Fund, the ACLU and the Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary. He has participated actively in the campaign for the release of the primates of the laboratories and the prohibition of the use of horses to pull carts. In addition, she won the Doris Day Music Award for his dedication to animal rights, granted by the Humane Society (2005).
But unfortunately in some countries Nellie McKay is not well known, are still less known than other areas in which it is a major: music.
Many are unaware that in the recent film PS I Love You Nellie plays the sister of the protagonist and, how could it be otherwise, has composed a theme for the movie: PS I Love You.
Nellie has also put music in the movie Rumor Has It ... and chapters of the series Gray's Anatomy and Weeds.
Nellie won a Theater World Award for the character of Polly Peachum in The Threepenny Opera, a Broadway production.
Even less known is that it helps in the book section of The New York Times.
Well, you knew before the Nellie hope you have contributed something new, and no, these touches you know and encourage more to make it known.
